Volunteers Needed: Help Special Needs Kids at Gymnastics

All Abilities Utah partners with Momentum Gymnastics in American Fork, Utah to offer a special "Parent's Night Out" for families of children with special needs. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help run this three-hour respite event and ensure a fun, safe environment for everyone involved. Please note that if you sign up and do not attend, we have to cancel (often last minute) on these same special families that we have planned this for. Please make certain you can volunteer before you sign up. Event Details: Date & Time: Saturday, August 23rd, 3 PM to 6 PM (volunteer training will start at 3 PM and children will arrive at 4 PM) Location: Momentum Gymnastics, 870 S 860 E Suite 400, American Fork, UT 84003 During this respite night, volunteers will: -Arrive in comfortable clothes and shoes you can move and play in! -Provide one on one support for those who need a buddy. -Help coordinate games and activities to keep the children engaged. -Oversee a short movie time and general supervision. -Assist with safe play on the exciting gymnastics equipment. **By volunteering, you'll give parents a much-needed break while helping children experience the joy of movement and social interaction. Whether you're an experienced volunteer or simply have a heart for service, your support will make a difference! Feel free to sign up as groups, families (even mature, big kids can be excellent helpers here!) and invite others to join you! Your time and care can truly help these families. Thank you for your willingness to serve at this special Parent's Night Out.

Volunteers Needed: Help with Art Stations for Families

We are in need of volunteers to help us set up, work at art stations, and then help with clean up when we are done. Art stations may include paint, clay, and ink so volunteers should wear clothes that can get messy! We have been hosting these events for the last 7 years and they are a fun and creative way to serve families in our community. Families who host international high school students often

Families who host international high school students often

Families who host international high school students often tell us about the joy of experiencing another culture while sharing the American way of life. Cultural exchange experiences can be life-changing for the high schooler AND for the host family. Host Families often develop long-lasting relationships with their foreign exchange students and their families. Open your heart and home to an international exchange student and perhaps you will find yourself halfway around the globe celebrating with them and their family in the years that follow your hosting experience. Open your heart and home to a high school exchange student and truly experience the power of cultural exchange. Volunteer host family‘s are responsible for 1) providing a bed (your chosen student can share a room with a child of your own) 2) offer 3 meals a day and 3) ensure your student has transportation to/from school (your student can also walk, carpool, or take the school bus). Our students come with their own stipends to cover all other personal expenses. Greenheart Students are enrolled in a single semester or full year programs and will attend your local high school. Your family and student will receive 24/7 support from your coordinator and team! Pick a student from over 70 countries and let’s get the adventure started! Call or text Madison Gasu at (662)871-3212 or email (madisonmichelle97@gmail.com) for more information on how to get started.💚
